Medication Pick Up

Medication Pick Up for April 16 is Postponed
Posted on 04/06/2020
Medicine pick up scheduled for April 16 will be postponed to a later date.  Please check back for updated information.  CCSC appreciates your understanding of this postponement.

Please read the important information regarding medication pick up from CCSC Corporation Nurse, Tiffany Shields.

If your student has a daily or emergency prescription medication at school, I will be providing an opportunity to pick it up at the schools on Thursday, 4/9 and 4/16.  On April 9, I will be at the Elementary office for middle and elementary school medication pick up from 9:00-11:15. I will be at the high school from 11:30-2:00. On April 16, I will spend the morning at the high school and the afternoon at the elementary.

I’m going to change the process for picking up medications to minimize contact and make the process as safe as possible.  For all medications, I am going to count the medication ahead of time and put the total on a form for parents/guardians to sign when picking it up.  This will allow for a safer, quicker pick-up process. Please remember, middle/elementary students may not pick up their own medications. High school students may sign for their own medications.

If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me.  If neither of these dates will work for you, contact me, and I will work to find an alternate date.  Any medications left at the school at the end of the school year will be destroyed.

Thank you,

Tiffany Shields
